Lead Solution Architect – Healthcare Platform & Interoperability
Remote
Role Summary
Zyter is seeking a Lead Solution Architect to serve as a senior technical architecture lead for a large-scale healthcare platform implementation involving TruCare Next Gen, Symphony and migration from legacy platforms.
This is a highly client-facing technical role. The individual will work directly with client architecture and technology teams to determine how Zyter integrates into the client's broader ecosystem, resolve complex architecture and integration questions, and partner closely with Zyter engineering teams to ensure the resulting platform is scalable, resilient, secure and maintainable.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical architecture depth with the ability to lead complex client discussions and drive decisions to closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architecture, integration and technical design discussions with client technology and architecture teams.
- Develop end-to-end solution architecture spanning TruCare Next Gen, Symphony, client systems, enterprise data platforms and external ecosystem components.
- Define appropriate integration patterns across APIs, events, batch interfaces and healthcare interoperability standards.
- Define system and data flows, systems of record, interface contracts, security boundaries, error handling and reconciliation approaches.
- Translate client architecture requirements and constraints into actionable requirements for Zyter engineering teams.
- Partner with engineering teams on design decisions and review solutions for scalability, performance, reliability, security and maintainability.
- Develop architecture supporting migration and coexistence between legacy platforms and TruCare Next Gen.
- Identify architecture risks, dependencies and decisions early and drive them to resolution.
- Ensure client-specific requirements are addressed without unnecessarily compromising the scalability and integrity of the core platform.
- Provide technical leadership through development, integration testing, performance testing, cutover and production stabilization.
- Maintain clear architecture documentation, interface specifications and technical decision records.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software, solution or enterprise architecture, preferably within healthcare.
- Strong experience with modern cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with AWS or comparable public-cloud environments.
- Healthcare payer technology experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with FHIR, HL7, healthcare APIs and/or EHR interoperability highly desirable.
- Experience integrating modern platforms into complex enterprise technology environments.
- Strong understanding of security, identity, data privacy and healthcare regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work directly with senior client architects while maintaining sufficient technical depth to engage engineering teams.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and technical problem-solving skills.
